Natalie Iturralde has blended her career with both legal and business roles. She is currently the Lead Counsel of the insurance legal team at Airbnb, which provides regulatory, transactional, and coverage support to the company for its insurance initiatives globally. These initiatives include building bespoke insurance solutions for Airbnb’s members.
Prior to Airbnb, she worked with several sharing economy companies as Vice President at Marsh & McLennan. In this role, she acted as a strategic advisor and consultant across multiple sharing economy accounts, including platforms related to homesharing, ridesharing, freelance labor, car sharing, and autonomous vehicles/trucking.
But her sharing economy experience started with Uber, where she joined as an insurance regulatory attorney and quickly took on the responsibility for supporting all insurance needs for Uber’s fastest growing region of Latin America at the time. In this role, she acted as Interim Risk Manager for Latin America for over a year and developed 15+ insurance programs across 14 countries in 2 years.
She is thrilled to have this opportunity within HNBF to continue her advocacy in making opportunities a reality for more Hispanic legal professionals.
