About the Program
The Future Latino Leaders Summer Law Institute is a nine-day program run by the HNBF in Washington, DC that provides selected Hispanic high school students the opportunity to learn about the legal profession. Students meet influential Hispanic leaders, have exclusive access to government agencies and tour national monuments.
All student expenses during the nine-day program are covered by the HNBF. While there is a non-refundable application fee of $50 and students are responsible for their transportation to and from DC, we offer fee waivers and travel scholarships based on financial need. Please do not allow the cost of transportation to deter you from applying.
This is a life-changing experience for Hispanic high school students, and we strongly encourage all eligible candidates to apply!
Who Should Apply?
- Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors and students graduating in 2020 who have an interest in learning about the law
- Students with a demonstrated interest in helping your community and building their leadership skills
