Our Mission
Education. Pipeline. Diversity.
Our Mission
The Future Latino Leaders Summer Law Camp is more than an educational program. It is a transformative experience that empowers the next generation of legal professionals to lead with confidence, integrity, and a commitment to inclusion and belonging in the legal field. The program offers students a powerful glimpse of their potential as they prepare to take their place in the legal profession.”

Empowering youth and creating a pipeline of future Hispanic leaders is critically important to our democracy and I’m proud to be on the board of a foundation committed to those goals.”

Latinos are the most underrepresented group in the legal profession. HNBF helps address that gap by empowering Latinos through education and access. When young students see themselves represented, they believe that a career in law is possible. I am honored to be a part of this organization and the incredible work that it does.”

Our History
its inception in 1985, the Hispanic National Bar Foundation has been led by attorneys eager to give back to their communities by helping others pursue the practice of law. The HNBF has grown from providing scholarships and fellowships to delivering programs and other resources to grow and advance the pipeline of talent to the legal profession.
The Hispanic National Bar Foundation believes that knowledge and diversity strengthen our society. As the United States continues to grow and evolve, the success of students from all backgrounds is a matter of national importance. We recognize that many young people face barriers such as limited opportunities, lack of role models, and financial constraints. Our goal is to help remove these barriers by providing programs, resources, and support—empowering the next generation of attorneys and ensuring equal access to opportunity for students nationwide, just as the founding members envisioned.
The HNBF believes that knowledge and diversity strengthen our society and that talent is universal even when opportunities are not. We recognize that many young people face barriers such as limited opportunities, lack of role models, and financial constraints. Together with our supporters, we are helping to close the gap.
