We are happy to announce that Monica Cheskin has joined the Hispanic National Bar Foundation (HNBF) as its new Executive Director, effective November 1st, 2024
Monica comes to the HNBF with a background in marketing, having worked for a global publishing company in their Latin American headquarters. She has extensive volunteer experience that has centered around student and alumni engagement with both her alma mater, Cornell University, and with the University of Miami. In addition, Monica spent time doing legal recruiting for numerous practice areas of law.
As the parent of an alumnus of the Future Latino Leaders Summer Law Camp for high school students, Monica is eager to assist the HNBF in continuing its mission of helping Hispanic students achieve their potential through access to higher education and increasing diversity in the legal profession. She is also looking forward to expanding the programs offered by the HNBF to college and law students.
Originally from Santiago, Chile, Monica is fluent in Spanish. She earned her BA in French Literature from Cornell University and her MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School.
