Alessandra serves as Counsel in The Walt Disney Company’s (“Disney’s”) legal department and is a member of the Global Privacy Legal Team. In this role, she oversees compliance with legal requirements and corporate policy related to the collection and governance of personal information from employees and job applicants across North America as well as consumers and employees in Latin America (“LATAM”). In addition to advising business, corporate functions, and legal teams on privacy matters in these two regions, Alessandra collaborates with members of the Global Privacy Legal Team in EMEA and APAC to support global initiatives. Her main responsibilities include: (i) helping develop, establish, communicate, and enforce privacy policies; (ii) negotiating privacy terms in vendor and other corporate transactions; (iii) conducting privacy risk assessments; (iv) managing data subject, law enforcement, and other regulatory requests; (v) advising on privacy implications within product and platform design, including AI; and (vi) managing other aspects of privacy compliance, including in technology-related matters. She provides privacy advice and ongoing support to Corporate and Disney Entertainment HR and Talent functions, including the Studio and Enterprise Technology teams.
Previously at Disney, Alessandra provided privacy advice for the collection and governance of personal information from consumers in EMEA, supporting TWDC’s suite of consumer-facing products, such as streaming services, media & entertainment businesses, and other digital properties—including those related to the parks, online shop, and Disney Destinations International.
Before joining Disney, Alessandra worked as an Associate at White & Case LLP in the New York office, where she was a member of the Firm’s Global Technology Disputes industry group. At the Firm, her practice focused on representing and advising multinational corporations, primarily social media and technology companies, in international commercial litigations and regulatory investigations in EMEA and LATAM. Central to her practice were matters involving data protection, privacy, consumer protection, contractual obligations, intermediary liability, platform enforcement, freedom of expression, fundamental rights, defamation, and hate speech. Alessandra was also actively involved in pro bono matters involving immigration, human rights, and civil liberties issues.
Alessandra is trained in both common and civil law. She is multilingual in English, Spanish, Italian, and French.
In 2019, Alessandra graduated with both a J.D. from Washington University School of Law and an LL.M., magna cum laude / Master 2, mention bien in French Law & European and International Business Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (as part of a dual-degree program). While in law school, she was a Primary Editor and Executive Board Member of the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy. She also served as Vice President of Washington University School of Law’s Latin American Law Student Association (LALSA). Alessandra graduated with a B.A., cum laude in Political Science and Romance Languages (French, Italian, and Spanish) from Wellesley College in 2016.
