Alessandra is a Counsel in The Walt Disney Company’s legal department and a member of the Privacy Legal team. In this role, she oversees compliance with legal requirements and corporate policy related to the collection and governance of data and personal information from customers and sometimes employees across the EMEA and LATAM regions. She is primarily charged with providing privacy advice and ongoing support related to Disney Streaming, the Company’s media and entertainment businesses, and the Company’s other digital properties.
Prior to joining the Company, Alessandra was an Associate at White & Case LLP, where she was a member of the Firm’s Technology Litigation industry group. During her time at the Firm, her practice focused on representing and advising multinational corporations, in particular media and technology companies, in international commercial litigations and regulatory investigations. She was also actively involved in pro bono matters involving immigration, human rights, and civil liberties issues.
Alessandra is trained in both common and civil law. She is multilingual in English, Spanish, Italian, and French.
Alessandra earned a J.D. from Washington University School of Law and an LL.M./Master 2 from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne as part of a dual-degree program. While in law school, Alessandra was a Primary Editor and Executive Board Member of the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy. She also served as Vice President of Washington University School of Law’s Latin American Law Student Association (LALSA). Alessandra obtained a B.A. in Political Science and Romance Languages from Wellesley College.
